Profil Arin Ilejay

Arin Ilejay mungkin adalah drummer yang paling terkenal untuk aliran post-hardcore di California dengan band nya dulu Confide. Ia tampil dalam album album berjudul Shout The Truth’ (2008) dan ditahun 2008, mereka mengadakan Warped Tour.

Arin Ilejay menerima posisi Artist Relations Manager dengan TRX Cymbals pada February 2009.

Setelah itu Arin Ilejay keluar dari Confide dan digantikan oleh Joel Piper.

Pada bulan Januari 2011 Arin Ilejay bergabung Avenged Sevenfold sebagai Additional Drummer baru menggantikan Mike Portnoy, yang telah mengisi pada posisi ini setelah kematian Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan pada bulan Desember 2009.

Arin sebelumnya bermain dengan Confide salah satu band metal dari Southern California. Sekarang band ini telah membuat pengumuman resmi tentang bergabungnya Arin sebagai drummer baru Avenged Sevenfold.

We recently asked several friends who knew Jimmy and his style, and also knew our music and each of our personalities to suggest drummers to tour with us starting this year. Our long time studio drum tech, Mike Fasano, recommended Arin Ilejay. We’ve rehearsed with Arin and have been impressed with his technical skills, attitude and work ethic. We’re very excited to tour with Arin and hope all of you will give him the warm welcome to the family we have.
